Most events get a venue. This one got a whole country.
4 seasons
of festivals
20+ malls
across Bahrain
6M+
visitors from across the GCC
The space
Shop Bahrain is the Kingdom’s biggest shopping festival. Its venue wasn’t a hall. It was more than 20 malls, plus streets and souqs, across four seasons, with over 6 million visitors from around the GCC.
Every mall is different: its own layout, its own management, its own crowd. The festival still had to feel like one thing, from the flags on the street to the prize desk inside, and give people a reason to keep coming back.

The idea
Instead of one design, I built a festival kit: a bold, colourful identity made of blocks that could stretch, stack and fold into any space.
The same blocks became street flags, hanging banners, pavilions, ticket booths and photo totems inviting everyone to “Join the fun”. In between, I added moments made for phones: hot-air balloons floating through the malls, live performers, mini-golf and big prizes, including 20 cars. Once the kit was in place, any new location could join the festival almost overnight.
