I’m Bashar Daas. I build brands and the products they live in, and I make art under the name Bonfelle. I used to describe those as two different lives. They were never actually separate.
I grew up on the bright, loud energy of 1980s pop culture, and it still colors almost everything I make. I work with design, digital art, and AI to turn small moments, family memories, and imagined worlds into visual stories. Some are playful. Some are heavy. Most of them begin with a question I can’t stop asking.
The commercial work runs on the same current. Naming what a brand stands for, shaping how it behaves, designing the screen where someone finally meets it — it asks the same question a portrait does. Who is this, and what are they becoming?
Bonfelle is a lens. Through it I keep returning to the same few things: identity, memory, and the way people change. You’re welcome to look through it with me.
Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.
