At first glance, you might think you have him figured out. You don’t. Some people are far cooler than they look, and this piece is for all of them. The playful text and layered textures are there to trip up your first assumption and make you look twice.
I started with a portrait of a friend and improvised from there, mixing digital techniques until the picture had as much attitude as he does. It’s a small reminder that a first impression is only ever a first draft.

مهووس لكنه رائع
للوهلة الأولى قد تظن أنك فهمته، لكنك لم تفعل. بعض الناس أروع بكثير مما يبدون، وهذا العمل لهم جميعاً؛ النصوص المرحة والطبقات المتراكبة موجودة لتربك افتراضك الأول وتدفعك إلى النظر مرتين. بدأتُ بصورة لصديق ثم ارتجلتُ ومزجتُ التقنيات الرقمية حتى صار للصورة من الحضور ما له. الانطباع الأول ليس سوى مسودة أولى.
