Music has a way of pulling strangers into the same rhythm. This portrait is my tribute to the musicians who use that power to stand up for equality and freedom, for everyone, everywhere. I tried to paint the way a great song feels: loud, restless, and impossible to sit still through.
Turn it up. Some songs don’t just play; they set people free.

للموسيقى قدرة على جمع الغرباء على إيقاع واحد. هذه الصورة تحية للموسيقيين الذين يستخدمون هذه القوة للدفاع عن المساواة والحرية، للجميع وفي كل مكان. حاولتُ أن أرسم ما تشعر به حين تسمع أغنية عظيمة: صاخبة، قلقة، ويستحيل أن تبقى ساكناً أمامها. ارفع الصوت؛ فبعض الأغاني لا تُعزف فحسب، بل تحرّر الناس.
