ملكة شابة تتجول في غرف قصرها الخالية، فتجد في الغبار أيقونة يبدو ذهبها المكسور كأنه يتنفس، فيستيقظ فيها إيمان نام لأجيال وحنين إلى فن ضائع كان يحمل روح إمبراطوريتها. تحمل في داخلها إرث الحرّاس القدامى جميعاً، ومع كل أيقونة تجمعها تعيد إشعال عالم كان يتكلم بالألوان والنور. أردت أن ينتهي خط الملحمة ببداية، فما نحبه حقاً لا يبقى مدفوناً طويلاً.
