Agency: from6
Client: Bahrain Polytechnic
Project Type: Brand Identity & Creative Direction
A polytechnic gets people ready for jobs that don’t exist yet. Its brand had to look like it knew that.
The brief
Bahrain Polytechnic trains the people who will run tomorrow’s workplaces. Its old identity didn’t say that. The ask was bold: rebuild the brand around one promise, to positively disrupt the way we live, learn and work.
The new look had two jobs. It had to feel serious enough for a place of learning, and fresh enough to win over ambitious students and the companies that hire them.

The idea
I steered away from crests, columns and everything you expect from a college. Instead, I built the identity on three words: mobility, innovation and opportunity.
A system, not a stamp. Around the logo sits a family of arcs and lines that can move, stack and change colour. In blues it feels calm and academic. In full colour it turns playful.

One campus, one voice. The identity runs from the front gate and the façade to reception, the stairwells and even the campus cars. Wherever you stand, you know where you are.

A proper launch. The new brand was unveiled on stage, with the logo standing tall behind the team that would carry it forward.
